I was born and raised in Oklahoma and love all that our state has to offer. I graduated from Oklahoma City University with his Masters in Professional Counseling. I have worked in higher education settings for over a decade before becoming a counselor. 

Therapy is all about finding the tools that each person needs to succeed. I tailor my approach based on the individual and what will work best to address their needs and goals. I primarily help individuals learn how to cope with and accept difficult thoughts and emotions as they arise, without letting them get in the way of you living the life that you want. This often involves learning to be mindful and aware of our own patterns or biases so that we can respond intentionally instead of reacting automatically. I have experience working primarily with young adults on anxiety, depression, relationship issues, spiritual issues, and identity issues. I see counseling as a team effort to help you get where you want to go without imposing my views onto you. I have experience working with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help notice and accept thoughts and emotions.
