Body Image Group Therapy

Daily life is crowded with messages that promote nearly impossible appearance standards that can lead to a negative body image, low self esteem, and ultimately the belief that our bodies (and ourselves) are not enough. 

Body Image Group offers a chance to change the narrative from doubt to acceptance! We’ll aim for rest, peace within ourselves, freedom of expression, security without ourselves/bodies regardless of societal standards. We focus on connecting with our bodies without judgment while uplifting the whole self (mind, body, spirit, characteristics). 

We do this through connection with others and relearning how to care for ourselves in a way that honors the who we are and leans on our true values. We strive to give each person the tools to live and thrive in their bodies no matter the changes that may come their way! 

This group will meet Thursday evenings from 7:30-8:30 pm beginning Thursday, March 5, 2026 with Emily Johnson, LCSW. This therapeutic group is for individuals 18 and older. 

Eclipse Counseling provides small groups for therapeutic purposes.  Due to this policy, we ask you to sign up ahead of time for this group.  You do not already need to be a client at Eclipse Counseling to participate.
